It features three stocked ponds and is situated at the headwaters of Sinking Creek. Located off of scenic byway Rt. 42, we are close to trail heads of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to McAfee Knob and Dragon's Tooth. We’re 13 minutes away from the Keffer Oak a “300-year-old (60' tall) white oak tree, the second largest on the entire Appalachian Trail.” We are also 37 miles to the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport. Shuttle services can be arranged.

Please Note: The cottage is stocked with water, but its bathroom & laundry are in the main house, just a hop, skip, and a jump away, complete with its own entrance.
