Your Shooting Party
Private by Design
The Highclere Simulated Game Morning is reserved for a single private party and designed for up to four Guns. Your party has the morning to itself, allowing the experience to remain personal, relaxed, and distinctly Highclere.
Everything You Need
Estate guns, appropriate cartridges, hearing and eye protection, and necessary safety equipment are provided. Guests are also welcome to bring suitable over-and-under or side-by-side shotguns in safe, good working order, subject to approval before shooting.
Sporting Dress
Tweed is always welcome. At Highclere, we celebrate personal style and want our guests to feel entirely at home. Traditional sporting and country dress is warmly encouraged, but never required. We simply ask that guests dress comfortably and appropriately for a morning in the field—and we especially appreciate those who embrace the occasion.
If you’ve always wanted an excuse to wear your Barbour, Hunters, or Le Chameau, this is it!
Select Shooting Days
Simulated Game Mornings are offered on selected dates rather than as a daily activity, keeping each gathering private and allowing us to give every shooting party the attention and hospitality the occasion deserves.
Private Shooting Morning — $1,500 per party
Up to four Guns • Estate guns, cartridges, safety equipment & elevenses included
Field Guests Welcome— $75 per guest
A sporting morning is better shared. Non-shooting companions are warmly invited to join the party, accompany the morning, and share in elevenses and Highclere hospitality.
We rather like that way of measuring a sporting day.
At Highclere, the shooting is only part of the morning. The landscape, the company, the hospitality, and the simple pleasure of being out in Virginia’s Highlands matter just as much.
